Artist Spotlight: Who is M Jane VIII?

M Jane VIII is a jack of all trades. She is a recording artist, record producer, singer, and songwriter born and raised in the Delta of Helena, Arkansas. Jane released her first single “IONO” via Soundcloud in September 2019 and her second single “Free Free” the following week.

M Jane VIII musical talents can be described as uptempo soul laced with Hip Hop. Her music sounds very real to the ear and it’s very catchy and unique. You’ll easily be able to connect and feel the vibe of her music and melodic soulful flow blended with Hip Hop. She doesn’t just sing, she also has melodic rap flows that she incorporates into every song giving you an amazing experience that you’ve never heard before.

M Jane VIII is making big business moves, inking a new partnership with Ruby Recordings. The deal encompasses distribution, management, as well as the opportunity to start her own record label.

She first began showcasing her talents when she was only 7 years old singing in the Church Choir. M Jane VIII continued to sing at the Church throughout her early childhood. During her middle school years, while still singing in the Church Choir, she was eventually exposed to secular R&B music and immediately began to connect with the sound of various R&B and Soul Artists. She continued to connect with various Gospel Artists which was her first and original genre. When she progressed to High School in the 9th Grade, she immediately tried out for the High School Choir. The Band Director complemented her, and he invited her to join the School Choir as the Lead Soloist. After High School, M Jane VIII moved to Little Rock, Arkansas to work on her music. She wrote a few Gospel Songs and sang at a local Church. Shortly afterward, she began performing her songs locally at various Churches. She caught the attention of a local Independent Gospel Recording Artist whom had a Gospel Group, and he was looking for a Lead Vocalist. She joined the group, and the group toured around the State of Arkansas performing at various Churches.

M Jane VIII music focuses more on positive vibes and individual empowerment made to uplift you and give you the Ego and the mindset that you’ll need to take on your most difficult challenges without wavering.
