New Ep: Ricvrd & YouKno Finesse release 6 track Ep “Split Tendencies”
Coming from the Bay Area, hip-hop artists Ricvrd and Youkno Finesse breakout onto the scene with a combination of catchy rhymes and melodies in their debut Ep “Split Tendencies” released Sept 21, 2020.
Just before the two dropped their EP they released single “Mañana” with a video to follow which hit over 50,000 views across all platforms in the first week catching a big buzz in The Bay and Los Angeles. Written by the two and engineered by Owsla sound designer Jared “Praajex” Lynch the project is a great listen from beginning to end.
You can tell these two artists really feed off each other’s energy in the booth to create high-quality music. The project acknowledges 2 different perspectives from how both of these artists view life in the best and even worse of situations. While each song varies in tone, exciting harmonies, and clever play on words, the project promotes “doing what you have to for what you want in life” said by Ricvrd.
The duo plans to keep working within their own lanes in music but we can definitely expect to hear some more noise from them in the future!
