New Music: Pasadena, California native, Kake Getlit releases highly anticipated Debut project “Make A Wish”
Hailing from Pasadena, California, Kake started releasing music at the start of 2021 with his first single “Hawaiian Punch”. Coming from a musical family background, Kake stated “My uncles and cousins always rapped, they actually had a group that was signed to Universal Music Group in Dubai. So music is in my families bloodline, I wrote my first rap at young age. Being raised in California, created a heavy influence by the likes of UGK, Pimp C, Royce Da 5’9” , 2Pac, Jay Electronica & 03 Greedo.
His recent EP release “Safe Bet”, will serve as the precursor to the full length project “Make A Wish” which is now available on all digital streaming platforms.
Kake offers a unique yet relatable distinctive sound which wont be hard for fans to gravitate towards early on. His debut album “Make A Wish” with appearances from Californias, The Game and features including Casey Veggies, KXNG Crooked, DJ Luke Nasty & more is a must listen. With production done from upcoming ILL G8Z and Juanito Jones, Kake has built his own team of producers to compliment his style. This project proves Kake is ready for honing his craft and aspiring to be among the stars.
